Not every message is meant to last.

A name left at a diner. A favour pinned to a board in a rail camp. A warning passed between crews. Somebody looking for help. Somebody looking for somebody.

Some notices disappear when the work is done.

Others remain.

What survives is kept here.

Some notices are still only traces — held for the road, not yet fully recovered.
