Long before there were highways or railroads, there were roads between places.
People walked them. Followed rivers. Crossed mountains and oceans. Carried stories, debts, promises and old things with them.
The Hidden travelled too.
America is only one of the newer legs of a journey that began long before anyone remembers.

Now there are railroads. Riverboats. Motorcars. Buses. Freight trains.
The road changes.
The travelling never does.
In The Hidden, play unfolds across one continuous 1930s America — rails, rivers, back roads and towns where folklore still walks beside ordinary life. Campaigns are not confined to isolated settings. A crew can begin in one region and keep travelling into another without leaving the same living world.
That continuity matters. Debts, attention, marks and relationships can follow the crew across the map. The country remembers what happened earlier on the road.
The Core Rulebook opens every current region. Future books deepen different parts of America. They do not replace it, divide it, or unlock places that were closed before.
Discover the people, communities, factions and folklore that inhabit this world.
