Become a Storyteller
Help bring The Hidden to life.
We are gathering a small first company of Storytellers — people willing to host their own games of The Hidden on our Discord, welcome new players to the table, teach them how the game works, and give them somewhere to actually play.
Some of the people who find us will already know how a table works. Others will have never sat down to a game like this before, and won't have a regular group of their own. That's exactly who this is for — someone who can open the door, teach them the game, and give them a seat at a table that already exists.
That is the work. Not a programme. Not a test. A beginning: a few Storytellers, their own sessions, and a community that can actually play.
What we are asking
If you come forward, you would be someone who can:
Host your own games of The Hidden on our Discord.
Welcome new players into those games.
Teach people how The Hidden works, even if they've never played before.
Give players somewhere to actually play — especially those without a group of their own.
Introduce people to the world of The Hidden.
Run your own sessions and adventures.
Help us grow a living playing community.
What comes with the road
The reason to write is the work itself — the games, the travellers, the community taking shape.
As an early Storyteller, you will receive The Hidden during this development period, while the Core Rulebook is still in manuscript. When The Hidden is released, early Storytellers will receive a Founding GM Pack.
Those are gifts of arriving early. They are not the reason to come.
Register your interest
We're looking for people who want to take The Hidden out onto the road — to run games, tell stories, and help us discover what happens when other people step into this world.
Tell us a little about yourself and what interests you about The Hidden. We'll read it personally and get back to you.
What happens next
Once you've registered, someone from The Hidden will get in touch with you personally. We'll talk about the game, answer any questions you have, and take it from there.
While you're waiting, if you haven't already, create an account on the website and have a look around. There's a lot more of The Hidden to discover, including the world, the road, the game itself and what we're building.
As we build the Storyteller community, Discord will be where we bring everyone together — to talk, share ideas, support one another, playtest and get games running.
You don't need a Discord account to register your interest.
